Glenmore
The British Properties' east end, closest to the river and the bridge.
The Short Version
Glenmore sits at the eastern edge of the British Properties, near the Capilano River and Taylor Way, on streets like Glenmore Drive, Bonnymuir Drive, Craigmohr Drive and St. Andrews Road.
It's mostly detached homes, with a few duplexes and townhomes, and it's the part of the hillside closest to Park Royal and the Lions Gate Bridge. For many buyers it's the more attainable way into the British Properties.

Close to Everything
The hillside's most convenient corner.
Park Royal, the Lions Gate Bridge and the Upper Levels Highway are minutes away, and the Capilano River's trails are close by.
Homes nearest Taylor Way or the highway pick up more traffic noise. The quieter streets are usually a few blocks in.
A Wider Price Range
An easier entry point to the British Properties.
Lots and homes here tend to be more modest than in the upper British Properties, which gives buyers more options at the lower end of the range, alongside some large custom homes.
A lower price doesn't always mean better value. Compare lot size, slope, view and the condition of the home, and check the title for any building scheme or covenants before you plan changes.
Near the River
Green space at the edge of the neighbourhood.
Ravines, mature trees and the river corridor give much of Glenmore a quiet, wooded feel.
Lots near creeks and ravines can come with setbacks, tree protection and drainage considerations. Ask about them early if you plan to renovate or rebuild.

Catchments are set by address, not by neighbourhood, so treat this as a starting point.
Depending on the address, including Westcot Elementary and École Cedardale (IB and French Immersion).
Depending on the address, students attend Sentinel Secondary or West Vancouver Secondary.
West Vancouver's catchments don't follow sub-area lines, and on the hillside two homes a street apart can fall in different catchments. Confirm the exact address in the West Vancouver Schools School Locator. Programmes like IB and French Immersion have their own enrolment process and limited space.
